Brigid Carpenter

Brigid M. Carpenter, office managing shareholder in the Nashville office, is a trial attorney whose practice includes products liability defense, catastrophic personal injury defense, defense of class actions, and prosecution and defense of commercial disputes. Ms. Carpenter has tried more than 20 cases in federal and state courts throughout Tennessee and other jurisdictions. She has represented clients before the Tennessee Supreme Court, the Tennessee Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

• Lead counsel in a catastrophic personal injury premises liability case involving traumatic brain injury to a senior citizen.
• Lead counsel in a catastrophic personal injury products liability case involving extensive third-degree burns to a minor.
• Represented automobile manufacturers, outdoor cooking products manufacturers, elevator manufacturers and automatic door manufacturers in personal-injury products liability actions
