Albinas Prizgintas has experience in a wide variety of civil matters, at both the trial and appellate levels. On the trial side, Mr. Prizgintas’s practice focuses on commercial disputes, defense of complex class actions and administrative rulemakings. He has represented clients in cases involving the Truth in Lending Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, state consumer protection statutes, and contract and tort claims, among others.
On the appellate side, Mr. Prizgintas has been involved in briefing and oral argument in the US Supreme Court, federal appellate courts, and state supreme courts. Before the US Supreme Court in particular, Mr. Prizgintas has prepared merits briefs, petitions for and oppositions to certiorari, and amicus briefs in cases involving diverse matters including the Takings Clause, the Equal Protection Clause, the right against self-incrimination, the right of self-representation, the Federal Arbitration Act, the Truth in Lending Act, the False Claims Act, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, and Title VII, among others. Mr. Prizgintas has presented oral argument in the Ninth Circuit.
