Adam Gomez

Grant Eisenhoffer

Adam Gomez brings experience, dedication and focus to his oversight of the firm’s national complex class action, environmental and other mass- catastrophe tort practice. For clients across the U.S.—in even the most technically, medically or scientifically challenging cases—he and his team strategically navigate the space between shifting government regulations, corporate negligence or malfeasance, and consumer rights and protections.

For those who have endured catastrophic injuries from pharmaceuticals, medical devices or consumer products, Adam evens the playing field and takes on the large and powerful corporations that have caused them harm.

He also represents injured clients in class actions, often involving large-scale environmental or chemical disasters, and is known for handling matters that affect entire communities or towns – the 2023 Norfolk-Southern train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio is one recent example. Adam additionally takes on single injury cases, whether they arise from medical malpractice or constitutional or civil rights violations.

Adam typically assumes the lead or co-lead litigation role—not only on behalf of the firm, but also on behalf of the entire class (which could comprise half a million people), or the tens or even hundreds of thousands of people represented by other lawyers in a mass tort matter that has been coordinated and centralized before one court. He has served as Chair of Discovery in several record-setting cases and is regularly appointed to plaintiffs’ steering committees as well as settlement negotiation teams.

Early in his career, Adam was an attorney at a boutique national defense litigation firm. This experience continues to provide critical context and insight into the way defense firms approach and defend the claims he is now bringing, which has proven to be a significant advantage.
